Neutral is one of my favourite go-to colour these days. I love how it exudes relax and comfy vibes. Most important thing is neutral is SO versatile. And guess what, neutral is that one major trend everyone simply couldn’t wait any longer to start wearing. Fifty shades of beige, monochrome, you can call it whatever you want, but 2019 is all about this once-boring hue. In this blogpost, I have curated 6 neutral outfits which you could rock to different occasions.
The key to keep the look interesting is to mix it up with different textures, shades, and proportions to create a chic ensemble made up entirely of this color palette. Bonus: Camel is the miracle color that always looks expensive. For a look you could wear to your favourite brunch spot, I wore a beige square neck top with stripes pattern with a camel colour denim skirt. To intensify the spring and summer vibes, I carried a straw bag and wore a pair of brown slip-ons.
Make your neutral look anything but boring when you add a statement piece. For this look, I kept it simple with a beige plunge v camisole top and a pair of white cropped mom jeans. For shoes, I wore a camel tone slip-ons. Lastly, I gave this look a cool twist with a red faux leather snakeskin crossbody.
Neutral can be edgy also when you pair it with the right accessories. For top, I wore a light beige graphic tee. Then, I teamed it with a camel tone denim skirt. To inject an edgy accent, I wore a pair of black patent square-toe ankle boots and carried a black leather belt bag with studs.
The no-brainer way to wear neutral is to put on a frock. For this look, I wore a beige plunge v shoulder straps midi dress with a pair of espadrille sandals and a straw bag with wooden handle.
In addition to mixing textures, play around with the proportions of your separates. For this look, I wore a beige plunge v button down knot cropped top with a brown high-waisted corduroy mini skirt. Then, I finished off the look with a pair of black pointed-toe heels and a black smooth leather chain crossbody.
If the weather is slightly chilly, this look is perfect for you. For top, I wore a camel mock neck top and a denim mini skirt. To keep myself warm, I added a third piece – white denim jacket. Lastly, I finished off the look with a pair of black pointed-toe ankle boots and a black leather crossbody.
