M’atural, a new cafe which not only serves unique home baked small bites but also carries out plant-workshop for plant enthusiast as well as green fingers. Being tucked away in the heart of Georgetown (which located at the end of Carnavon Lane, next to the junction to Toh Aka Lane) M’atural is the perfect spot for you to unwind from the hustle bustle of a city lifestyle.
When you first make an entrance to M’atural, you will be greeted with the gorgeous front entrance which displays a number of beautiful plants a.k.a Bongsai. I remembered how I instantly felt so calm and relax the moment I stepped in.
Nothing fancy but the interior design of M’atural definitely creates that warm and inviting environment that makes you feel at home. White walls with exposed bricks, a touch of wood and lots of greenery, it definitely gives off that tropical vacation vibes. Not to mention, M’atural, will also got you dreaming of a staycation in Bali.
It was a hot afternoon, so my mom decided to go for cold drinks. She ordered a glass of Cold Earl Grey Tea.

Whilst, my sister and I both shared a glass of Pomegranate Smoothie. I have to admit, I did not have any expectation while ordering this drink. Hence, when it turned out to be so delicious and rich, it was indeed a serendipity.

The highlight of our visit to M’atural is definitely the food. We have ordered one from the savory (salty pie) menu and one from the dessert (sweet pie) menu. Both of our orders were utterly scrumptious and my favourite got to be the Bacon Quiche which is also highly recommended by the staff. Bacon Quiche was basically a baked Potato with bacon filling, topped with a pastry skin, served with Mayonnaise. Side dish including cherry tomatoes, cabbage and carrots. Trust me, one would not be enough for the tummy.
The sweet pie was equally delightful. Aside from being delightful, the Apple Crumble also looks enticing and perfect for your Instagram game. I am really impressed on how they used a real Apple. The Green Apple was cut and loaded with custard-like filling, pastry skin, and some icing sprinkled all over it. It was then served with crumble, raisin biscuits, matcha sticks and honey drizzle.
